Article Writing

Skilled writers can
contribute blog
posts, interviews, and educational

Image Creation

For those with graphic design skills, creating engaging visuals for articles, social media, and promotional materials would be invaluable.

Technical Assistance

Assistance with website management, coding, or troubleshooting could help maintain and enhance the website’s functionality.

Community Outreach

Volunteers can help manage social media accounts, respond to community inquiries, and represent The Encore Project at local events.

Event Planning

Help in organizing webinars, workshops, and community gatherings (both virtual and in-person).

Blog Post Comment Monitoring

This role involves monitoring and moderating the comments on blog posts to maintain a constructive and respectful dialogue. It would also include ensuring comments adhere to The Encore Project’s community guidelines, responding to queries, and escalating issues if necessary.

Volunteer Application Process, How it works

Application Submission

Begin your journey with us by completing the volunteer application form. Provide detailed information about your skills, experiences,
and areas of interest. This helps us understand where you might fit best within The Encore Project.

Application Review

Once submitted, our team will carefully review your application.We aim to match your skillsand passions with our available roles, ensuring that your contribution can have the most significant impact.This review process typically takes about a week to ten days.

Communication

After reviewing your application, you will receive a communication from us. We strive to find a place for everyone, but please understand that a match is not always possible due to varying project needs and volunteer capacities.

Interview/Meeting

We will invite you for an informal interview or meeting if we find a potential match.Depending on your location, this could be in person or via a digital platform.
This is your opportunity to learn more about us and discuss how you can contribute.

Onboarding

Once a match is confirmed, you will go through our onboarding process.This includes an orientation, and possibly training sessions to familiarize you with our operations, tools, and the tasks you will handle.

Feedback and Adjustment

We value your feedback and are open to adjusting to ensure your volunteer experience is fulfilling. You can provide input and suggest changes to your role as needed.
