A Journey of Growth, Gratitude, and New Beginnings

A Journey of Growth, Gratitude, and New Beginnings

Dear Friends,

As I reflect on the incredible journey we’ve shared, I am filled with deep gratitude for your unwavering support and encouragement over the years. Many of you joined me on this adventure when I founded Smart Growth Tulsa, an organization dedicated to advocating for smart public policies right here in our beloved city of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Together, we worked tirelessly to make a positive impact on our community, and your passion and commitment were the driving forces behind our successes.
When I transitioned from Smart Growth Tulsa to focus on my real estate career under Bill Leighty – Walter & Associates, you once again stood by me, embracing the change with open hearts. Over the years, it has been my privilege to serve you in the real estate industry, helping you find your dream homes and guiding you through the intricacies of buying and selling property. Your trust and loyalty have been the cornerstones of my career, and I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to be a part of your lives.
Now, I find myself at another crossroads, and I’m excited to share this new chapter with you. After 35 years in real estate, I have decided to repurpose my energy and focus on a venture that truly speaks to my passion and purpose. While I will continue to serve past clients, customers, and referrals in the real estate business, I am thrilled to introduce you to The Encore Project—a new initiative dedicated to empowering senior men and inspiring purpose for a fulfilling life in their golden years.
The Encore Project is born from the belief that life doesn’t have to slow down in our later years—instead, it can be a time of renewed energy, growth, and exploration. Through this project, we aim to provide senior men with the resources, community, and inspiration they need to thrive in this dynamic phase of life. Whether it’s through insightful articles, engaging discussions, or meaningful connections, The Encore Project is here to support and uplift those who are ready to embrace their golden years with passion and purpose.
I invite each of you to join me on this exciting new journey. Visit our website at theencoreproject.org and subscribe to our Newsletter to stay updated on the latest content and opportunities. As we transition to this new focus, we kindly ask for your patience and indulgence. We’ll be adding new content to anchor the page, and you can expect regular posts—two or three times a week—that will hopefully resonate with you and enhance your life.
Thank you once again for your unwavering support throughout these years. Together, we’ve accomplished so much, and I’m confident that the best is yet to come. I look forward to sharing the joy and excitement of The Encore Project with you and continuing our journey together, creating a fulfilling and vibrant future.
With heartfelt gratitude and enthusiasm,
Bill Leighty
